Technology

Iron is an essential micronutrient that plays a critical role in chlorophyll synthesis, directly influencing the rich green pigmentation of grass. NZLA Iron+ delivers 6% iron in a fully soluble liquid form for immediate uptake by plants.

The advanced Delivery Technology ensures efficient foliar absorption, boosting nutrient transport. It also features natural humectants, which help retain leaf moisture and increase nutrient availability. Regular use improves lawn vigour, resilience, and colour intensity, making your turf healthier and more visually appealing.

Foliar Application

  • Application Rate: Use 200-500ml per 100m², diluted in 4-10L of water.
  • Application Method: Apply evenly with a knapsack sprayer or similar equipment.
  • Adjust water volume as needed to ensure complete leaf coverage without excessive runoff.
  • Suitable for all grass types, including bentgrass, fescue, couch, and ryegrass.

Mixing & Application

  • Timing: Apply every 14-28 days, or as needed, based on lawn health and colour requirements.
  • Watering: Avoid watering for at least 6 hours after application to allow proper nutrient absorption.
  • Mowing: Refrain from mowing for 24 hours post-application to prevent nutrient loss.
  • Iron Deficiency Treatment: For lawns displaying symptoms like yellowing or poor colour, increase application frequency to restore health and vibrancy.

Compatibility: NZLA Iron+ is compatible with most liquid fertilisers and turf management products. Perform a small patch test before full-scale application to ensure compatibility.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • In colder temperatures, keep in a warm location to prevent crystallisation.
    • If crystallisation occurs, warm the bottle in water and shake well until dissolved.
  • Shake thoroughly before each use to ensure even nutrient distribution.
